BIG SISTER!

GREAT NEWS!
OUR PRECIOUS LITTLE MILA IS GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER!

She was a bit SURPRISED when she first found out

I spent some time trying to convince her that she will love being a big sister:

I told her that we can teach the new baby to play dress-up

We can teach the new baby how to play hide and seek

We can teach the new baby how to get dressed and how to paint his or her toes

We can teach the new baby how to share

I also told her that she will have to be more independent when baby comes

Like if she could feed herself that sure would be nice..

And if she could go ahead and make sure everyone else gets fed as well that would be super helpful:

I explained that there may come a time when she will have to entertain herself

And if she could get herself out to the car when we have to run errands I would really appreciate it..

So I admitted it might be tough to be a big sister.. but then I told her the BIG SISTER SECRET!

when you are the big sister you get to sit up high and boss everyone around

Not gonna Lie she really liked that Idea!

Now she says she CAN'T WAIT to be a BIG SISTER!

I Love, Love, Love, this little girl and can't wait to welcome our next little ONE into the FAMILY!

SIETE

Mila's last month has been a very busy and productive one. She traveled across America to celebrate Christmas with her grandparents, aunts and uncles.

When we returned to Kentucky we found the dogs had really made themselves comfortable in their little room. All their blankets were pulled out and some of them chewed up pretty good.

One big accomplishment Mila has made is mastering the CRAWL. She is on the move and not slowing down one bit.

She even pulls herself up to a stand and stays as long as she has a hold of something for balance.

Good standing, Mila!

We love our little Mila June so much and are so excited for our next one to come along (hint hint)....
