Mila Walking. . . kind of

Mila was getting some help from this chair as she practices walking:

Here's another one:

This is at our good friends, the Keithley's home. They are so nice and love Mila lots, plus they are helping her learn all kinds of things like walking!

NUEVE

Today Mila woke up as a nine month old, we can't believe it. Time is just flying by and she is growing so big. To commemorate the big day she first took the dogs out for a walk, then took a nap. Following the nap she spent an hour at the pool where she learned how to go under water while holding her breath; followed by another nap. After nap number two, she hit another milestone: she climbed all the way up the stairs!! Supervised of course. That makes two new things this nine month did for the first time. Before she passed out again for the night we managed to snap a few photos. Here's our precious Mila...

It's a GIRL!!

With all the anticipation that a new family could bear, we finally were able to find out what we are having.... It's another girl!! We are all very happy and excited to add another little Mila jr. into our family.

These were the best pictures the ultrasound produced. They're not great, but it's not easy to get a miniature fetus to look at the camera and smile.

We are happy to report that everything is looking good, and we're on track for a very healthy daughter.

We've tossed around a few name ideas and this is what we've come up with: Mila (pronounced Meela), Nila, Maggie, #2 (that one is just asking for trouble), Isabelle, Siskelyn (consider the full name)... good thing we still have 5 months to think about it.

True to form the first thing we did after finding out was pick the color to paint the new nursery. Jen and Tami already painted 3 walls tan and left the remaining one to be the accent. It's a no-brainer in deciding what color to paint a baby girl's room, right?

BLUE!

Mila is all ready to help.

Look at that cute little smile.

Nice helping, Mila.

How are the paint fumes treating you?

Almost done.

Ta-Daa!

The pink will accent the blue accent wall.
Don't ask me, the only thing I accent is my holas and buenas noches.
