ZOO FRIENDS

On Tuesday me and Mila took a trip to the Hogle zoo with my mom Tami, my mother-in-law Diane, and my sister-in-law Heather and her 3 kids: Garrett, Hudson, and McKenzie.  It was so much fun the animals were reallly active and we had a great time!

We found a stranded baby bird.. my mom returned it to its nest..

DOS

2 Months!!!

My little Mila has been all smiles this month! And I can't get enough.  She seems to crack up at everything especially when her mom is being goofy and sings to her (She is really attracted to music of any kind) and thinks its hilarious to look at herself in mirrors.  She is starting to hold up her head and loves to look around.  Her favorite toy is her mobile and anything that makes noise when she hits it; she loves chimes.  She loves Baby Einstein DVDs and watched a good portion of the Muppets movie with us last night!  She loves hiking in her moby wrap, and enjoys cuddling with her dad.  She is sleeping in longer stretches at night; she even made it all night a few times last week- hopefully this is the new normal! haha-- I still think she would live in the Bathtub if we would let her!

Up Up and Away

This weekend we took a Hot air balloon Ride with my family up in Park City, it was awesome! Our baloon was named the Dream Keeper.  Our Aeronaut guide was Tom he was pretty funny; at the end of our ride he told us about the history of Hot Air Ballooning, we had an Orange Juice toast and he recited The Balloonist's Prayer:

"The winds have welcomed you with softness. 

The Sun has blessed you with his warm hands.  

You have flown so high and so well, 

that God has joined you in your lautghter, 

and He has set you gently back again 

into the loving arms of Mother Earth."
